Brand Plans are best developed and executed when there is a formal planning process behind them. Formal does not have to mean complex, but it does mean setting up a process that the organization will follow over a regular cycle, to build the plan. A planning process will lay out timing and tasks for all areas of the organization throughout the year. It will generate its own cycle of initiative launch, tracking and measuring, and adjustments for the next year.

Your organization will become a well-oiled machine when it comes to developing and executing Brand Plans. Each area will know its role in the overall plan, and specifically, what needs to be done by when. With PlanCycle, your organization will get into a planning rhythm that will drive consistent results and help ‘Bring your Brand to Life’.  Any Brand Planning process will also integrate with the existing corporate financial planning cycle. Incorporated into a retailer’s PlanCycle would be an integration with Category Management planning.

A formally documented process with timelines that shows clearly how the Brand Planning process would work over an annual basis or whatever cycle timeframe is deemed relevant for your business. Also included if desired are recommended templates for post mortems that feed into the plan for the following year.

Product application

Lumena Products apply to Corporate Brands and their sub-brands, individual Product Brands, or Retail Private Label Brands, except for ‘Category’ Products which apply to Retailer Merchandising Categories. All Products can apply to brands that are New(Launch) or Existing(Invigoration).
